How are working days counted?

All days from start to end inclusive, minus the weekly holiday. 4–8 October is 5 days with no holiday, so 5 working days.

Are public holidays (Eid, Puja) excluded?

No — only the weekly holiday. Subtract any public holidays in between by hand.

How do I count a half-day leave?

This counts whole days. Subtract 0.5 for a half day.

Is Saturday a working day?

It depends. Government offices close Fri–Sat; many private firms Friday only. Pick yours.
